    • Choose a private, comfortable space: Find a quiet area where you feel safe to talk openly. Use headphones for added privacy if needed.

    • Ensure a stable internet connection: A reliable connection helps avoid interruptions. Test your device and platform before the session.

    • Use a compatible device: Have a working camera and microphone on your computer, tablet, or smartphone. Position it at eye level for comfort.

    • Minimize distractions: Silence notifications, close unnecessary apps, and inform others in your home to avoid interruptions.

    • Have necessary items ready: Keep a notebook, pen, water, or any other helpful materials nearby.

    • Be prepared and on time: Log in a few minutes early to check your setup and maximize your session time.

    • Be honest and open: Virtual therapy is effective when you’re authentic and engaged.

    • Practice self-care after sessions: Reflect, journal, or relax to process what was discussed during your session.

These steps can help ensure a productive and meaningful virtual therapy experience.

Healing begins when we feel safe, supported, and understood.
